This website is owned and operated by Scape Studio Inc. (doing business as Scape iD). Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” “our,” and “Scape iD” refer to Scape Studio Inc. Scape Studio Inc. offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service,” “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Scape iD is a professional landscape design platform operated by Scape Studio Inc., a corporation incorporated under the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Our online contracts are governed by the BC Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BPCPA)
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. If you are an adult, you also confirm that any minor dependents under your care have your express consent to use this site. Scape iD may request verification of age or parental consent if deemed necessary. You acknowledge that the Service consists of professional landscape design consultations and digital deliverables (3D renderings and 2D plans). You may not use our design files for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service, or any contact on the website through which the Service is provided, without express written permission from us. The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete, or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk. This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. Prices for our Services are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
All design packages (Starter, Premium, Luxe) are delivered digitally. We do not provide physical site visits or manual land surveys. Our designers rely entirely on the data (site plan, photos, dimensions, and vision) provided by the client.
Turnaround Times: We aim to deliver first drafts within 10 days, depending on your selected package. Under the BPCPA, if we fail to provide the initial service within 30 days of the stated delivery date, you have the statutory right to cancel your contract.
Schematic Nature of Deliverables: All 2D hardscape plans are schematic and intended for conceptual guidance only. Final construction must be verified on-site by the responsible party (client or contractor) according to actual site conditions. The client or their hired installer is solely responsible for the installation and ongoing maintenance of all hardscape and plant materials.
3D Renderings: 3D renderings are artistic representations of the design concept and may not always accurately reflect specific material textures or plant species. All renderings are subject to software limitations and display variations.
Planting Plans: Planting plans are schematic. Final planting locations and quantities must be verified on-site before installation. Plant selection may be adjusted by the installer or client if a specific species is unavailable or not preferred.
Lighting Plans: Lighting layouts are schematic. Final fixture locations and the lighting switch schedule must be verified on-site and approved by the client or contractor.
Material Plans: Material plans are provided for design intent and guidance only. Final material selection, finishes, and sourcing must be verified and approved by the client or installer.
Revision Period and Order Closure: You are required to submit any requests for design revisions within two (2) months of the delivery of your first design draft. If no revision requests are received within this two-month period, the order will be considered automatically closed and completed. Requests for revisions after this period may require a new order or additional fees. If you require an extension to this timeline, you must notify ScapeID in writing before the two-month deadline expires.
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases. For details on cancellations and refunds, please review our Refund Policy. Refunds are only available in accordance with the terms outlined in that policy.
We may provide access to optional third-party tools, such as the 'Imagine AI' plant list generator and the Free Landscape Design Inspiration tool. You acknowledge that these tools are provided "as is" and "as available" for conceptual inspiration only and do not replace the professional judgment of a human designer. We may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the website (including the release of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services shall also be subject to these Terms of Service.
All 3D renderings, 2D plans, and design concepts produced by Scape iD are "Instruments of Service." Scape Studio Inc. and its professional designers retain the copyright and ownership of these materials. Upon final payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use these plans for the sole purpose of improving your specific property. You may not share, sell, or redistribute these plans for other properties or projects without our express written consent.
Scape Studio Inc. (operating as Scape iD) provides conceptual design services only. Our plans are not "stamped" architectural or engineering drawings. You are responsible for ensuring that all designs comply with your local building codes, HOA regulations, and zoning laws. Before starting any construction, you must hire a local licensed contractor or engineer to verify all dimensions, grading, and underground utility locations. Scape Studio Inc. is not liable for any damages, fines, or construction errors resulting from the use of conceptual plans.
Certain content, products, and services available via our Service may include materials from third parties. Third-party links on this site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third parties. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites. Please review carefully the third party's policies and practices and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third party.
If you provide submissions to Scape ID, whether in response to a request from us, for example contest entries, or voluntarily, including creative ideas, suggestions, feedback, proposals, plans, or other materials, collectively called "comments and feedback," you agree that we may at any time and without restriction edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate, and otherwise use any comments and feedback you submit in any medium. You acknowledge that we have no obligation to maintain any comments and feedback in confidence, provide compensation for any comments and feedback, or respond to any comments and feedback. We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, edit, or remove content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, or that violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Service. You agree that your comments and feedback will not infringe on the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality, or other personal or proprietary rights. You further agree that your comments and feedback will not contain libelous, unlawful, abusive, or obscene material, nor any computer virus or other malware that could affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false email address, impersonate another person, or otherwise mislead Scape ID or third parties regarding the origin of any comments and feedback. You are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of your comments and feedback. Scape ID assumes no responsibility or liability for any comments or feedback posted by you or any third party.

Occasionally, information on Scape ID or in the Service may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including information related to service descriptions, pricing, or turnaround times. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information, or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate, at any time and without prior notice, including after you have submitted an order. We have no obligation to update, amend, or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including, without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. Any specified update or refresh date provided in the Service or on any related website should not be taken to indicate that all information has been modified or updated.
In addition to other restrictions set forth in these Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using Scape ID or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial, or local laws, regulations, rules, or ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights of Scape ID or any third party; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code that could affect the functionality or operation of the Service, related websites, other websites, or the Internet; (h) to collect or track the personal information of others; (i) to spam, phish, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape data; (j) for any obscene or immoral purpose; or (k) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service, related websites, other websites, or the Internet. Scape ID reserves the right to terminate your access to the Service or any related website for violating any of these prohibited uses.
Scape Studio Inc. provides all conceptual designs “as is” for guidance and inspiration. We shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of these designs, including, but not limited to, construction delays, material cost increases, or structural failures. In no event shall our liability exceed the amount paid for the specific design package purchased. Clients are responsible for verifying the suitability, measurements, and compliance of all designs prior to implementation. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights under British Columbia law for claims under $5,000.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Scape Studio Inc., its brand Scape iD, and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services or when you cease using our site. If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms of Service, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).
The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
